Fire Safety for Kids

You can keep your community safer when you teach kids how to react to fire. Our youth programs reach 1,000s of students each year! Last year, we taught 25,000+ students in our Fire-Safe Kids presentations.
Fire Safe Kids
Working with youth and their families to understand the serious consequences of firesetting. The program consists of a formal assessment, which identifies the child's risk level, and then provides education intervention or referral to additional services.

Did you know that seniors are the most vulnerable population, when it comes to perishing in a home fire? That’s why we’re passionate about our Fire-Safe Seniors program, which installs free smoke alarms for the elderly in our community.

Fire Safety in the Workplace

At The Burn Institute, we believe that employee safety is paramount. That’s why our ‘Fire Safety in the Workplace’ program is more than just a training session – it’s a comprehensive approach to enhancing safety in your business environment. Empower your employees with the skills and confidence to respond effectively to fire emergencies, ensuring a safer workplace for everyone. Our goal is to equip your team with the knowledge and skills to tackle fire emergencies confidently, ensuring their safety and your peace of mind. 

What We Offer: 

  • Expert-led training on proper use of fire extinguishers. 
  • Interactive and practical sessions conducted at your workplace. 
  • Tailored programs to fit the size of your team. 
  • Instruction in both English and Spanish. 
  • Fulfills OSHA business safety requirements (1910.157) for two years.

The Burn Institute, a non-profit organization, is committed to reducing burn injuries and empowering survivors through innovative programs, education, and support services. Fees collected from this program are vital, enabling our organization to sustain and expand our efforts in reducing burn injuries and supporting survivors, continuing our impactful work in the community. 

For just $500, you can train up to 30 employees, with scalable options for larger groups. Not-for-profit rates are $275.
