SAFE San Diego Grants for CERT Programs in San Diego County

Application SAFE San Diego Grants for CERT Programs in San Diego County

2024 applications are now closed. Contact [email protected] with questions.

The Burn Institute takes pride in helping to support local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) efforts in San Diego County and invites you to apply for funding to aid in your activities that support Health and Safety, Emergency Preparedness or Disaster Response. Greater emphasis will be placed on CERT programs that actively participate in Mutual Aid events and Neighborhood Evacuation Teams.

A grant from San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) has made it possible to support local CERTs in San Diego County.  The SAFE San Diego initiative is part of SDG&E’s commitment to make our region safer at home, in the workplace, and in our neighborhoods.

To qualify for funding, your CERT program must be in good standing with San Diego County Office of Emergency Services and adhere to the CERT Council Code of Conduct.
