Firefighter Boot Drive – Thank You!
On March 5, hundreds of firefighters from 30+ departments throughout the county collected donations for the Burn Institute’s burn survivor support services and ongoing fire and burn prevention education. Celebrating 26 Years of this hallmark event that benefits our entire community. Thank you!
Thanks to our community the drive was a great success. You can still give at this LINK.
Proceeds benefit support programs such as “Camp Beyond the Scars” – summer camp for burn-injured children. This invaluable camp program has provided a joyous place for hundreds of young burn survivors to thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment.
“Thanks to our community’s generosity and our incredible fire departments, our annual Boot Drive was a tremendous success. All funds raised stay local and support burn victims and provide proactive education to prevent future trauma,” shares Peter Callstrom, Executive Director.
