Since 1987, young burn survivors have experienced healing, encouragement, and FUN at our camp. A joyful and empowering experience, young burn survivors form new friendships and peer support in their healing journey. This life changing experience provides an invaluable boost to self esteem. We equip our campers with the ongoing support to live a full and happy life.

When: July 14-18, 2025
Where: Indian Hills (Jamul)
A one-of-a-kind supportive space where campers can share about their burn injury and their hopes and dreams. With staff and volunteer support, campers get to do what kids do best, make friends and have a blast! Cost: Thanks to our generous donors, we provide this camp free of charge to burn survivors treated at UCSD Regional Burn Center. Staff and volunteers: adult burn survivors, health-care professionals, mental-health professionals, firefighters, and caring community members. All undergo a background check and training. Transportation is provided to and from the camp. Activities include: swimming, basketball, volleyball, archery, crafts, dancing, and fun fun fun!

Learn. Help. Grow.
Our Leaders in Training (LIT) program is designed for burn survivors (ages 18–20). You learn from staff and counselors as you guide campers in team building, life-skills training. A great way to make friends with other young adult burn survivors. Please apply to assist in this transformative camp!
